Alexander Valley Vineyards 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, 750 Millilitre, $21.99
Estate grown & bottled. Established 1962. Wetzel Family Estate. First produced in 1975, our Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant and balanced. Our estate vineyards are planted on diverse, well drained sites resulting in low yields and rich, concentrated flavors. Each lot is determined and fermented separately to maximize complexity. We barrel age in our caves for 14 months and blend Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot to craft a complex and polished wine that is enjoyable now and will age for 10-15 years. The Wetzel Family Estate, located on the property settled in the 1840s by Alexander Valley namesake Cyrus Alexander, showcases the history, tradition and excellence of the region. Sustainably Sonoma County farmed grapes.

Antigal Uno Malbec, 750 Millilitre, $14.99
2018: 91 points. The tasting panel magazine. Mendoza, Argentina. 2018: 90 Points. - James Suckling. Antigal UNO is a one-of-a kind Malbec whose luscious black and red-berry fruit is brightened by natural acidity and supported by firm but ripe tannins. The wine's unique personality reflects the outstanding quality of grapes hand-harvested from our vineyards high on the Andes foothills; its smoothness and purity of flavor evince the gentleness of gravity-flow winemaking. Barrel-aged for eight months in French and American oak, Antigal UNO carries cedar and vanilla-spice notes through a lingering finish. Enjoy this exceptional wine with red meat entrees, grilled vegetables, and semi-firm cheeses.

Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, 750 Millilitre, $64.99
Paso Robles is one of California's most pastoral domains. Its name roughly translates to passageway of oaks, and indeed majestic trees mark the landscape. Amongst the rolling hills and native habitat lie manicured vineyards, where ideal soil exists for farming cabernet, dry, warm conditions are typical, yet evenings are chilled by a breeze from the pacific just 18 miles to the west, allowing the fruit to ripes into luxurious richness. At nearly 1,000 feet, soils are elevated sea beds where shells fossils are often found. I grew up in Paso Robles tending vines alongside my father, who made a living farming grapes. Today the place I call home is surrounded by oak trees and vineyards that may family has been farming for nearly 40 years. The goal for this Cabernet is simple - to make wine that expresses all that Paso has to offer, with its pastoral beauty, perfect soils, maritime climate and limitless possibility. - Austin Hope, Owner/Winemaker. hopefamilywines.com. 15% vol. Made & bottled by Austin Hope Winery. Vinted & Bottled by Austin Hope Winery, Paso Robles & Fairfield, California.

Bogle Vineyards Essential Red Wine, 750 Millilitre, $9.99
The deep, dark color of this wine creates an expectation of weight and purpose, however, the Essential Red’s first impressions are subtle and nuanced.
