Easy Halibut Florentine

1/3 cup Heinen’s breadcrumbs (For the Halibut)
2 Tbsp. Heinen’s butter (For the Halibut)
2 lbs. Heinen’s fresh halibut fillets (For the Halibut)
1/2 tsp. black pepper (For the Halibut)
2 Tbsp. Heinen’s extra virgin olive oil (For the Halibut)
2 Tbsp. Heinen’s butter (For the Florentine Sauce)
2 Tbsp. flour (For the Florentine Sauce)
2 cups Heinen’s milk (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/2 tsp. salt (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/2 tsp. black pepper (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/2 tsp. Heinen’s granulated garlic (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/2 tsp. Heinen’s granulated onion (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/4 cup Heinen’s parmesan cheese (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/4 cup Heinen’s shredded mozzarella cheese (For the Florentine Sauce)
2 cups Heinen’s spinach (For the Florentine Sauce)
1/3 cup Heinen’s breadcrumbs (For the Florentine Sauce)
Lemon slices, for serving (For the Florentine Sauce)
Directions
- Brown the breadcrumbs in the butter until golden brown.
- Pat the halibut fillets dry. Season the fish with the salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and sear the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter for the sauce. Once melted, the flour and whisk together until golden brown.
- Slowly add the milk and whisk until smooth. Season with the salt, pepper, granulated garlic, and granulated onion. Add the parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella and whisk until smooth.
- Add the spinach and stir until wilted.
- Add the fish to the pan and top with breadcrumbs and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
